OPEPO Enrollment

Thank you for considering OPEPO as an educational option for your child and for your patience as we navigate this evolving process.

Please download and review the OPEPO Enrollment Application for the 2021-2022 school year.

In addition to the changes in the OPEPO program this current school year due to COVID restrictions, there will be another few changes in the coming years. The school board has recently approved a request by the administration to reshape the OPEPO program into a 4-year program (rather than a 5-year program). The transition will look like this:

  • 2021 / 2022 school year will be comprised of 2nd through 5th-year students.
  • 2022 / 2023 school year will be comprised of 1st through 4th-year students.
  • Ongoing, the OPEPO program will be offered to families of 1st through 4th-year students.

The enrollment process for the coming school year (2021 / 2022) will be different from previous years in that we are looking to fill spaces in each grade (2nd through 5th). The 4th and 5th-grade students will all graduate together in June 2022.

We invite you to read and acknowledge the following important information about what is expected of families that join the program. https://www.opepo.org/parents-volunteers/

If this seems like a good fit for your child and family, please fill out an application and email it to enrollment@opepo.org or bring it into the office at Salish Coast Elementary by 3 pm on Thursday, May 27th. Submitting your application, acknowledging the parent volunteer requirements, and attending a zoom orientation are required before the name draw, which will occur the first week of June.

We look forward to hearing from you!
