OPEPO Enrollment
Thank you for considering OPEPO as an educational option for your child.
Please download and review the OPEPO Enrollment Application for the 2022-2023 school year.
OPEPO ENROLLMENT PERIOD OPEN THROUGH APRIL 1
Over the past year, the OPEPO program has shifted from a five-year program (serving grades 1-5) to a four-year program (serving grades 1-4). The transition looks like this:
- 2021-2022 school year included 2nd- through 5th-grade students.
- 2022-2023 school year will include 1st- through 4th-grade students.
- Ongoing, the OPEPO program will be offered to families of 1st- through 4th-grade students.
Shifting from five grades to four grades has expanded the number of spots at each grade level. In addition, not offering a 1st-grade level in the 2021-2022 school year means there are many spots available for both the 2nd- and 1st-grade levels in 2022-2023.
In short, it is a great time to be applying to OPEPO!
We invite you to read and acknowledge the following important information about what is expected of families that join the program: https://www.opepo.org/parents-volunteers/
If this seems like a good fit for your child and family, please fill out an application and email it to enrollment@opepo.org or bring it into the office at Salish Coast Elementary by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1. Submitting your application, acknowledging the parent volunteer requirements, and attending an orientation/observation (on-campus and zoom options are available) are required before the name draw, which will occur in mid-April.
We look forward to hearing from you!
